The charts provide information about the average proportion of types of nutrients such as sodium saturated fat and added sugar in typical meals. All of these might be unhealthy if they consumed more than enough.
Overall, it is clear that dinner contains the highest percentages of sodium and saturated fat, while added sugar eaten is mostly consumed in snacks.
Focusing on the sodium first, the highest percentage is found in dinner which is 43%. Lunch was the second highest, with 29%. And while both breakfast and snacks showed the same and the lowest percentage with 14% for each.
Saturated fat which was also preferable meal for dinner and leading with 37%. And people consumed it for lunch at approximately 26%. Snacks and breakfast were the lowest figure with 21% and 16% respectively.
Turning on to the added sugar which was preferable for snacks with 42%, taking almost the half of the circle. Meanwhile, consuming sugar for dinner was the second leader with 23%. However, for the lunch, the percentage was 19% and for the breakfast at was 16% being the lowest among all.
