Overall, the investments made by men saw more fluctuations than the women, moreover, male invested their money in larger amounts initially, whereas, women invested less, however, at the end of the duration investments done by females were greater than the males in the UK.

Additionally, men invested around $200 billion in 1950, afterwards, the investment experienced a steep rise of $400 billion, furthermore, it dipped to the initial invested amount in 1960. In between 1960 and 1970, it plateaued around $200 billion, then it saw rapid rise in the investments of $600 with experiencing small fluctuations, touching an all time high, but it dipped to $400 billion in 1980.
