Overall, Radio had the highest usage across the age groups, while the opposite was the case for Micro blogging. In addition, people aged from 10-17 tended to access Social networks to get daily news.
Looking first at Social networks, both people from 10-17 age groups and 18-29 age groups claimed the top spot, with 80% each, followed distantly by 30-49 age groups, whose figure stood at around 45%. Meanwhile, the percentage of people within the 50-64 age groups was higher than that for 65+ age groups, with around 47% and 10%, respectively.
Turning to Micro blogging, with a leading figure of above 25%, the figure for 18-29 age groups emerged as the frontrunner in five age groups. Trailing behind were the age bracket of 10 to 17 years and 30 to 49 years, whose figures were approximately 20% and 17%, in that order. By contrast, residents aged from 50 to 64 years and 65+ years showed equal figures, reaching just over 5% each.
As for Radio, the figures for 18-29, 30-49, and 50-64 age groups occupied the highest usage, all of which ranged around 90%. Ranked second after those aged from 65+ age groups, with just over 85%. At the bottom of the list was 10-17 age groups, with only 40%.
