Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the proportions of daily working individuals of all sectors saw an upward trend, except for sleeping and going out over the period shown. In addition, working recorded the highest rates.
In 1958, the proportion of working and sleeping were highest, accounting for 32% and 33%, followed by 19% of going out. Meanwhile, relaxing and travelling had a lowest proportions,
between 2% and 8%.
From 1958 to 2008 showed a dramatic rise in the proportion of working and relaxing at 42% and 13%, respectively. Furthermore, there was a gradual rise in the proportion of travelling and other to 8% in 2008. Moreover, the proportion of sleeping soared to 25% in 2008. Additionally, going out showed a dramatic decline to 6%.
