The line graph illustrates the proportion of water which is distributed by chemical quality across 4 different rivers in the UK from 1990 to 2002.
It can be seen that the percentage of water purity in Wales had a significant downward trend, while the chemical quality of water in England and Scotland fluctuated. Besides that , the rate of water’s chemical standards in Northern Ireland rose substantially.
In 1990, the stream in Wales peaked at the highest level of water quality , 95% ,and which stood at an unchanged level after 8 years .Unfortunately, there was a decline to 15% in the proportion of water purity from 1998 to 2002 . Similarly , the chemical quality in the brook of england fluctuated considerably , this level remained at 45% in 1990 . Although this level rose greatly to 70% from 1990 to 1996, the year 2002 saw a noticeable fall of 20% in the percent of stream’s chemical standard in England.
In contrast, Northern Ireland had a proportion of water safety in 1990 that is reallly favorable, about 85% . However, the standard of this country’s freshwater river witnessed a significant growth of 10% after 12 years. Likewise, the chemical quality of water in Scotland was exceptionally low, hit a lowest point of 22% in 1990 .This level went up dramatically to 60% by 2000 .Afterward ,there was an decrease to 40% from 2000 to 2002.
