Overall, more than half of teenagers did not use an iPod to watch videos at all, while only a small proportion used it frequently. The percentage of those who watched videos once or twice a week was significantly lower compared to those who did not use it at all.
To begin with, the most notable group was the one that did not use an iPod for watching videos, accounting for 51% of the respondents. On the other hand, only 6% used it more than 11 times per week, and just 5% watched videos 6 to 10 times.
Furthermore, 15% of teenagers used an iPod twice a week, and 14% watched videos only once, which are relatively similar in proportion. Those who used it three to five times made up 9% of the total.
In conclusion, while iPods were available in 2009, a majority of teenagers in Australia did not use them to watch videos regularly, with only a small fraction engaging in frequent usage.
