The charts show the income and outcome of a children’s charity in a region of the USA in 2016. From the charts, it could be stated that the charity gained a profit, with the highest revenue came from the food donation while the highest expense was from the charity’s program services.
In detail, the first place which contributed to the revenue was the donated food. It accounted 86.6% of the total income and followed by the participation of residents as the second place which was about 10.4% of the total revenue. As for the third place, the charity’s program with 2.2%. While the accumulation of investment, government support, and other categories only contributed less than 1% in total.
Furthermore, the charity’s expenses allocated to only three categories; charity’s program, fundraising, and management and general affairs. The majority of expenditure allocated to fund the charity’s program which cost 95.8% of the overall expenditures, followed by fundraising activities that spent 2.6% of the total outgoings, and about 1.6% used to pay management and general operation.
