The line graph illustrates energy demand and available energy from fossil fuels in Fredonia in a 20-year period between 1985 and 2005.
Overall, it is evident that both remained the same positions in the final , as at the beginning. However, they experienced some fluctuations during the period.
Looking at the details , at the start, energy demand had 500 billion Megajoules. However, it started to decrease and in 5 years that figure dropped to 200 billion MJ. For the next 5 years, amount doesn’t change. In 1995, energy demand began rise. Finally, at the end of the period, it had 700 billion MJ, increased in 200 billion as at the start.
On the other hand, in 1985, there were approximately 350 billion MJ available energy. Then it grew up steadily and reached its peak for 600 billion MJ in 1995. By contrast, it fell to 2 units in 2000 and remained unchanged next 5 years till the end of the period.
