The graph shows how many people go to see top-level football games in three countries in Europe: Italy, England, and Germany from 1980 to 2004. Each country’s line looks a bit different in the graph.
In 1980, Italy had the most people going to the games, about 35 thousand. But then less people started going, and by 1986, it was just over 30 thousand. It kind of stayed the same until 2004, when it went up a little bit.
England started with fewer people, about 25 thousand in 1980. Their graph goes down and up, but mostly stays below Italy and Germany. By 2004, there were a bit more than 30 thousand people going to the games.
Germany’s graph starts the lowest, around 20 thousand in 1980. But it goes up more than the others. By 2004, it’s almost as many as Italy, around 35 thousand.
The graph shows that different countries had different numbers of people going to games, and it changed over time. Germany had more and more people going, while Italy had the most at first but didn’t grow much. England was in the middle but didn’t change too much either.
