The pie chart illustrates the outcomes of survey of people who explored four types of tourist attraction in Britain in the year 1999. It also displays the different places inside the theme park that the public was attracted towards.
Overall, it can be observed that the highest figure of 38% of the total population were interested in visiting theme parks. Slightly less, was the crowd tending to visit Museums and Galleries with a percentage of 37%. While the statistics for Historic Houses & Monuments were quite lower than the previous two, at 16%, the tourist spot of least gathering was Wildlife Parks & Zoos, standing at only 9 percent.
Talking about the various spots inside the Theme Park, The Blackpool Pleasure Beach was the most famous place amongst the tourists, with almost half the total distribution, that is 47%. The other features of the theme park, namely the Alton towers, stood up to 17% of the total crowd gathering, while Pleasure land, Southport attracted just a little lower mass with 16%. It is also notable that The Chessington World of Adventure and Legoland showed same number of visitors at 10 percent.
In conclusion, the top most attraction was the Theme Park, and The Blackpool Pleasure Beach inside the Park was the most loved.
