The state should spend more money on educational institutions and decrease spending on arts. I totally agree because professional studies contribute to a stable economy in the future. Whereas, different forms of arts is not valuable to the overall growth of the country.
To begin with,the youth of the country needs to be educated to create a powerful and developed nation. Therefore, the authority should allocate more funds to primary and secondary institutions. This should increase economic growth and stability by producing young entrepreneurs. Additionally, empowering all students of different backgrounds with academic skills. For example, children from poor homes in Africa should have access to free education through state funding to break the poverty cycle. This might also create job opportunities for less fortunate people.
However, the government should consider lowering the budget for all froms of art, such as , architecture, painting and graffiti. Although beauty is imperative, it does not contribute to the development of the country. Unfortunately, a developing nation with attractive buildings and uneducated youth may cause further decline in the international markets. For instance, South Africa has stunning scenery and art but many citizens are semi- skilled or un- skilled which impedes growth.
In conclusion, I clearly agree that money should be spent more on institutions rather than art because art beautifies the country but education empowers the youth. This in turn should create a strong economy.
