Overall, the most striking figure is that the female workforce has accounted for the major share in most countries, except for Egypt, which had the minimal percentage. In addition, regarding the proportion of managers, the largest proportions are recorded in Australia and the United States.
In terms of the women in the workforce, most countries have occupied a considerably high percentage. Australia accounts for the highest percentage, at nearly half, slightly higher than the figure for the US (46%). Interestingly, this category in Australia and Sri Lanka are relatively similar, staying at 42% and 41% respectively. Finally, the figure for Egypt is the lowest proportion of the female workforce among all countries, at 20%.
With regard to the percentage of women who are managers, Egypt, Sri Lanka, and Japan show lower proportions compared to the remaining nations. Notably, this category in Sri Lanka has the lowest share, just under one in ten, comparatively lower than Egypt (12%) and Japan (17%). Finally, the same percentage of female managers is recorded in Australia and the US, contributing to 43% each.
