Nowadays, a considerable proportion of individuals consider the Internet to be an excellent resource for communication, while others think that it may not be the best place to find information. Meanwhile, I firmly believe that the Internet is not the best source to gain information.
In today’s era, when contemporary technology is well-developed, a significant number of people have begun to use the Internet to interact with their counterparts or friends remotely. This is because loads of people are accustomed to exploiting online platforms, such as Instagram or Telegram, offering a vast majority of opportunities to their users, as a quick way to get a response from a person or to keep in touch over long distances. Take Russian senior citizens as an example; it was proven by old people that online applications started playing a vital role in their lives since it became comfortable to communicate with their grandchildren and children even if they are far away.
Conversely, the internet’s role as a source of information is fraught with peril. The primary reason is that a large array of people can post fraudulent information, which can lead to confusion. They can manipulate offering a scam data that can lead to misunderstandings. A good illustration of this is Islamic sources, where a vast number of individuals post negative information about their faith, and believers may accept this as truth, leading to strikes or even war. Therefore, most people do not regard the information that the Internet allows as correct.
To conclude, although the Internet offers possibilities to interact with people, it also can be a detrimental way to find accurate information, and it may lead to misunderstandings, such as war. Consequently, I strongly believe that the Internet is a fraudulent place to receive desired information.
