Group study session in the classroom is argued to present more benefits than learning virtually at home. I strongly support the notion since studying in a group helps students to learn better and increase learning motivation.
Learning with fellow learners is advantageous as each student will learn better by discussing the material with their teammates. During the discussions, various opinions regarding the lesson will be presented by the team members, which will allow them to acquire a better understanding of the discussion material. Studying English in a team, for example, will be a great help for students as they can exchange opinions with fellow team members which results in much better understanding.
Additionally, group study are also one of the methods to increase learning motivation. Various learners found that studying together with their peers is more fun than studying on their own. Therefore, studying in a team could be used as a way to motivate students since they are allowed to have discussions with their friends during classes. For example, studying literature will be more fun when learning it with a group of friends because they can talk about the topic from various viewpoints.
To summarize the points, I completely agree with the presented statement that group study is far more beneficial than online learning. Learning in a team assists the student to have a better understanding of the material since they are able to talk about the materials with their friends in the form of a discussion. Moreover, group study session also increases the willingness to learn.
