The bar chart provides a comprehensive data on distinct types of accommodation preferred by the British during holidays in four discrete countries during 2010.
It is noticed that a substantially large proportion opted for hotels during their vacations across all countries. Whereas, caravan and camping were among the less popular ones.
Hotels were the most used in England followed by self-catering and camping, with caravan being the least favoured. In Scotland, a similar outlook was observed by the British, where hotels and self-catering persisted to be the top preferences in-order ,while the rest being noticeably less utilized with camping being the least favourite among them.
Hotels and self-catering continued to dominate the ratio of preferred stays in Wales , with a similar perception to caravan and Camping as observed in England. Astonishingly, Caravan was among the top favoured stays in Northern Ireland followed by hotels ,supplanting Self-catering, which was equally chosen as compared to camping.
