Firstly, Brazil accounted for 35% of monthly expenditure for housing and an equal proportion of income was spent on education, food and drink, and entertainment, which was 20% respectively. Meanwhile, 5% of income was expended on clothing.
Likewise, Peru spent 31% of income on housing every month, whereas the second highest amount was expended on entertainment, which was 25%. 20% of the monthly income was spent on food and drink, followed by 16% on education. The lowest proportion of monthly income was expended on clothing.
Moreover, in Colombia, the percentage of monthly income expenditure on housing reached its peak at 39%. 30% and 24% of monthly income was spent on food and drink along with education. The percentage of income expended on entertainment and clothing were 13% and 14%.
