The table shows a comparison in terms of GDP measured in dollars and the life expectancy in years between 6 different countries, namely the USA, Australia, Spain, Poland, India, and Mali in 2009.
Overall, USA had the highest GDP amongst other countries. In contrast, Mali had the lowest. In addition, Australia had the longest life expectancy, while Mali had the lowest.
USA had a high GDP of 45,900 dollars and a significant number of life expectency of 78 years. Moreover, Australia had a relatively high GDP which was $38,600 and a higher life expectancy than the USA which stood at 82 years. Another country of high GDP was Spain at 32,500 dollars, and their life expectancy was only one year less than Australia’s life expectancy.
On the other hand, Poland’s GDP was roughly half Spain’s GDP. Their expectancy of life was 75 years. Furthermore, India and Mali both had a significantly lower GDP which were $3,000 and $1,200, respectively. Their life expectancy were also the lowest compared to other countries. It was 65 years for India, and 50 years for Mali.
