Language has always been a mode of communication between different human beings right from the beginning. But language is not same everywhere and people living in different regions speak their native language. Now the world has become a global village and people becoming more willing to relocate to different parts of the world. This transition can cause some social and practical hurdles, specially when you have to cope with a totally new language.
People relocating to different countries with different language have to deal with their educational and health sectors. It will be quite hard for children to resume their education in a different language, which can affect their self-confidence and learning skills. Furthermore, new immigrants can find it very tough to look for optimum and more accustomed health care facilities due to language barriers. Lack in communication between patient and healthcare workers can lead to serious health complications which are mainly linked with the lack of proper diagnosis. Apart from education and healthcare, fresh immigrants can also face some problems at their new work place. Proper communication between co-workers is the main ingredient to succeed as a team member.
On the other hand, learning new language can polish your innovative and creative skills. Most of the times, recruiters prefer candidates with multi-linguistic abilities, specially in companies such as call center and consular offices.
In my opinion, dealing with a totally different language can affect the abilities of a human being in a negative way by causing serious social obstacles and practical problems.
