Overall, the number of people who spend their money on groceries and tobacco is the biggest, comparing to other categories. Turkish people spend the most and people in Sweden the least. In category of clothing and footwear Sweden in also at the bottom of range, however Italy in this category became leading. Leisure and education is the lowest in spendings category.
Irish people in 2005 spent 28% on food and drinks, 6% on clothes and 2% of educational and leisure stuff and services. In Italy, Spain ans Sweden the tendency is similar. On foods, drinks and tobacco people spent 16%, 18% and 15%, in clothing category 9%, 7%, 5% and spendings on leisure and education 3%, 1% and 2,5% respectively. Turkey is the leading country in spendings: 32% for groceries and 4% for leisure and education, which are the highest indicators.
