in my opinion, the focus on individual achievement can serve as motivation for society. People can look to successful individuals and set goals to emulate them.
However, there are also significant drawbacks to this emphasis on individualism. Many people who showcase their achievements on social media fail to reveal the steps they took to get there or may share techniques that only worked for them. This can lead to feelings of jealousy among viewers. Additionally, when successful individuals sell courses promising to teach others how to replicate their success, they often do so without any formal education in teaching. As a result, unsuspecting beginners may purchase these expensive courses, only to find that their businesses do not thrive, leaving them feeling disheartened and lacking confidence.
In conclusion, I would like to offer alternatives for how society can focus on individual achievement in a more constructive way. I do not deny that this emphasis can be motivating; however, it is crucial to consider how motivation is realized. My suggestion is not to eliminate showcasing success but to emphasize the authentic journey behind it. This includes sharing one’s mistakes and offering honest advice.
