The bar chart illustrates the comparison between the annual number of rental and sales of films from a particular store during the period of 2000 and 2011.

Overall, it is clear that initially the number of rentals recorded decreasing figure, while the annual sales had increasing throughout the period. In general, there are various formats of sales includes VHS, DVD, and Blu-ray.

In detail, in 2007, the DVD sales accounted for approximately 215,000, which was significantly higher than rentals, at around 130,000. This indicates as a considerable gap between the two films. Moreover, the rental of films was gradually decline till the end of the year, 158,000 to 51,000. However, the number of VHS sales are initially accounted till 2005 as compared to other there is no record any value after 2006.
