Industrialization is the process of transforming an economy from primarily agricultural to one based on manufacturing goods, characterized by the mechanization of production, the factory system, and technological innovation. This change in industrialization can be clearly seen on the chart presented above. The chart shows the percentage of British Families that had various items in 2001 and 2008.

Firstly, telephones was the most popular house appliance in 2001 with a user percentage of 95%, although there’s decline percentage of 5% in 2008, it is still the most popular family appliance which shows it’s strong relevance in communication.
