More and more electric cars have been adopted in many countries compared to traditional gasoline-powered cars in recent years. While an economy is falling due to unuse of fuel, I believe that is positive development.
Admittedly, one main drawback of adopting more electric vehicles is that the country is experiencing a significant decrease in the economy. The major part of the country’s budget comes from fuel and ordinary drivers help with promoting that. By stopping promoting gasoline-powered cars, the demand for oil will not exist. For instance, after establishing Tesla cars, the sale of fuel in the USA decreased by 12%.
However, this drawback is overshadowed by the benefits of having more electric cars. One major advantage is that they are more eco-friendly. Electric cars use an electrician in order to move, so it does not make any discharges to the environment. Meanwhile, traditional vehicles used petrol, which negatively affected the air. Many studies proved that electric cars do not produce any waste and do not have any negetative effects on the environment, while traditional cars are the main cause of air pollution at the moment. Second, urban areas become less noisy. The engines of traditional cars make a lot of noise, which is the main problem in the city. However, the electric cars do not produce any sound, so it does not disrupt citizens.
To conclude, even though promoting electric cars affects the economy of the country, they are more eco-friendly and do not produce any waste to the air compared to gasoline-powered cars and reduce noise in the city. That is why I believe this is beneficial development.
