The maps delineate how a seaside resort called Templeton transformed in 1990 and 2005.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that this resort undergone a significant modification from an old- fashion area to a more industrial, accessible and residential one.
Looking first at the western region of the map, while the scenery in the top-left corner of the resort remains entirely unaltered, two houses with different sizes and nearby trees, which paved along a lake, had been demolished to make room for the construction of blocks of flats. At the western end of two traditional bridges located a small land which had housed some trees. However, some of them were removed to establish houses. To the bottom of the map, this region was divided into two parts , one was used to build newly supermarket with the one further south being blocks of flats’ position which were expanded at the expense of several houses and trees.
The area on the estern side, where trees had previously been planted, were used for airport and houses on the top and a factory on the bottom of the map instead. School, hospital and petrol remained unchanged, while the railroad tracks were extented westward to cross a new bridge adjacent to the factory.
