The highest number of Australian women, almost a million were employed by a religious institution, although a considerable amount of female professionals, exactly 700,000 worked in the country last year. Conversely, men were over-represented in the trade sector and in leadership positions, with nine times as much trademen and three times as much male managers than that of female.
In regards to job types, it can be observed that significantly less blue collar workers were employed in Australia than white collar ones, with only a few hundred thousand people doing manual labour or working in the industry.
