Depicted by the given map is information about some of the radical changes in the development of the village of Pebbleton over the span of 20 years.
Upon initial observation, it can be apparently seen that there have been significant changes, with ones in the infrastructural and recreational aspects witnessing the most remarkable transformations.
Regarding the infrastructure of the village, Pebbleton has registered the emergence of three more establishments along the northern coastline and the appearance of the flats in the west side of it. A footpath in the center of the village has been opened, making it more approachable for villagers to access the inland school via the linkage between the footpath and Coast Road.
With regard to the recreational aspect, the introduction of such public buildings as community centre and tennis courts has also been recorded in the heart of this isle. In fairly close proximity to these buildings stands the children’s playground, which was formerly known as The Old Fort. Most noticeably, it was the lighthouse and the playing field that (have) remained relatively intact within the entire transformation process of Pebbleton.
