Overall, Louvre had the most visitors throughout the whole year and State Hermitage was visited the least. The Spanish and the Korean museums were almost the same in the total number of visitors. While the number of visits in the museums of the USA and the UK didn’t surpass 6 million.
It can be observed that State Hermitage and Museo del Prado were visited the least, with the total number of visitors not surpassing 3 million people. Numbers for The National Museum of Korea were slightly more, just over 3 million visitors in total.
Both Metropolitan Museum and British Museum had just under 6 attendees in 2011.
Louvre accounted for the most number of visits in that year with just under 9 million people who visited it. The French museum was significantly ahead of these 5 countries in the number visitors for the whole year.
