It is quite inevitable for lawbreakers to commit more crimes after being discharged from jail as a consequence of numerous reasons such as rejection from society and lack of necessary skills. From my perspective, by proper reintroduction and systematic training programs, this trend can be alleviated.
On the one hand, most people are forced into illicit activities as they do not have the skills or knowledge to apply for a respectable job. According to the studies, the majority of criminals living in prisons do not have a good educational background. Furthermore, at present, most employments require a high academic level since these positions have to apply cutting-edge technology to their work. For example, in the chemical industries, they generally hire employees who know how to use chemical raw materials safely. Hence, to cope with this problem, the authorities should play a major role in offering vocational training to uplift their knowledge of a specific career. These trainings would at least provide a second chance for them to start their life again.
On the other hand, society does not welcome people with criminal records. The main reason behind this issue is they fear these individuals who may harm their lives and properties. The appropriate way to deal with this issue is that the officials should monitor all of the free prisoners by recording and analyzing their behavior to predict their future actions. Moreover, these people should visit the nearest police station twice a month for one year to verify their identification and meet a proficient psychiatrist. These methods would significantly reduce fears from companies, employers, and society.
In summary, as mentioned, the released prisoners are not sincerely welcomed due to lacking the skills to do a proper job and social acceptance. Nonetheless, I believe this issue can be solved through well-organized vocational courses and official measures.
