Overall, the total distance travelled by all type of transport shows growing trend the reason for this is growth of buses, rail and air travel. However, the trend for bicycle and motorbike was reversed where the bar chart show a downward trend
Bus and rail travel were the most common type of transport throughout of period, the chart demonstrates moderate increase. Looking for a bus, the figure illustrates marginal growth, from about 40 kilometers per week in 1990 to nearly 45 kilometers in 2000. What about rail travel, people travelled about 30 kilometers per week, but by 2000 chart show insignificant surge of 10 kilometers per week. Air travel showed remarkable growth, surging from 3 kilometers per week in 1990 to 10 kilometers in 2000.
In contrast, bicycle and motorbike illustrates show downward trend. The figure for bicycle travel drop from 5 kilometers per week to 3 kilometers per week in 2000, while that of motorbike travelled halved from 10 kilometers per week in 1990 to 5 kilometers per week.
