The line graph presents information on the changes in three unknown locations of crime in Manchester city center between 2003 and 2012 years. Overall, the most popular crime type, which was burglary, over time, reduced. While car theft increased not much. Robbery remained in its position with increasing and decreasing in the period of given time.
Burglary was a type of crime, that was in highest proportion among all categories, about 3900 crimes in 2003, in contrast, robbery was the least committed crime, just above 500 crimes. Therefore, burglary reached its peak in 2004 with about 3700 crimes, a year later in 2005, robbery peaked its committed crimes with just 1000.
Car theft was the second most popular offensive activity with about 2350 crimes in 2003. It remained in its position until a light reduction in 2006 to 2000 crimes that year. However, over time, it began its rise and in between 2006 and 2007 it surpassed the burglary illegal activity. It kept rising and it reached its peak which was about 2700 crimes in 2012. For comparison, it was fewer crimes than burglary, which showed highest crime in the begging of the period.
