Overall, the youngest demographic (10-17) favoured using Social networking to get daily news the most, while the others were more attracted by radio. Additionally, Microblogging ranked last in all the surveyed categories.
To elaborate, the share of examined teenagers group opting for Social networking to access to daily news was the highest, at 80%, exceeding that of Radio and Microblogging by a gap of 40 and 60% respectively. In the meantime, a significant 92% of people from 18-29 age group showed a preference for Radio, compared to 80% of Social networking and 25% of Microblogging.
Regarding the 30-49 and 50-64 age groups, similar trends were seen in the cases of those two demographics, with the figures for choosing Radio to get daily news being around 90%, followed by Social networking (50% and 40%) and Microblogging (roughly 15%). Finally, seniors racket (65+) found Radio the most preferable way to get daily news, with the recorded figures being 85%, as opposed to 20% for Social networking and 10% for Microblogging.
