Dear Mr. and Mrs. Collins,

I am writing you about your invitation to a surprise birthday party for Chris.

First of all, I would like to say, it is a great idea to arrange a surprise birthday party. Chris adores not only present but also unexpected party events. Last year he organized a party for my anniversary by booking whole Eiffel Tower just for our closest comrades.

Unfortunately, I cannot join to your celebration. My father’s birthday is on the same date. All my siblings are going to come. So we will gather with family on a parent’s yacht; however, I will definitely send Chris a congratulation post card.

However, Chris and I planned a journey to Brazil next summer. I am excited about upcoming trip. There will be a Brazilian carnival with dances, costumed show and many positive emotions. Thus, I will see him there and pass my warmest wishes.
