6.5

Your pronunciation is above average. However, you may find complexity in certain words challenging. Regular practice should aid in improvement.

Task Response

The response is a good start, but it needs further development to fully address all parts of the question. Consider elaborating on specific aspects of Japanese culture that interest you, who you'd like to travel with and why, and provide more detail on why you want to visit Japan. Adding specific examples and experiences will strengthen your response.

Fluency & Coherence

The answer is somewhat repetitive and lacks a clear structure. The introduction is a bit tangential. Focus on organizing your thoughts more logically, following the prompts provided in the question. Try to avoid unnecessary repetition, such as mentioning childhood multiple times. Practice speaking more smoothly and naturally, reducing hesitations and filler words.

Lexical Resource

Vocabulary is adequate but could be more precise and sophisticated. While the candidate uses words like "aspects" and "traditions," more descriptive and vivid language would enhance the response. Consider using more specific examples to illustrate your points about Japanese culture and traditions. Expand on what aspects of Japanese culture interest you.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

Grammar is mostly accurate, with some minor errors. The sentence structure is generally simple. While the candidate demonstrates some grammatical range, more complex sentence structures and varied grammatical forms would improve the score. Pay attention to subject-verb agreement and tense consistency. For example, the phrase 'that I ever known' should be 'that I have ever known'.
