I have known her all my life of course but as I have grown older I’ve come to realize just how Phyllis is done by her beliefs whether it’s about family matters, social issues or even small decisions at home. CLA has a clear point of view. I think my mother is an opinionated person because of her life experience and strong values. She’s someone who deeply believes in doing things the right way and she’s not afraid to voice her tone. It’s something that doesn’t align with her principles. For example, when I come to the topics like education or the importance of this life she’s already to give her perspective often backed by stories from her own upbringing or lessons she learned along the way. I feel a great deal of respect for her even though sometimes it can be challenging. Her strong opinions can make the questions intense but I have learned so much from her. So, save my own values and even when she doesn’t agree I appreciate that she speaks her mind and agrees to do the same.
