Band 7+: can you find food from many different countries where you live. why?

Your pronunciation is quite good. Working on consistency and tackling difficult sounds may enhance clarity.

The answer is relevant and coherent. Consider expanding on the reasons for the diversity of food options, perhaps mentioning factors like tourism or migration. Also, sushi is Japanese, not Korean. Minor factual inaccuracies can affect the score.

The answer is mostly fluent, with only a few minor hesitations. The structure is coherent, but could be improved by using clearer linking words and phrases to connect ideas more smoothly. For example, instead of 'but you can find', consider using 'In addition, you can find' or 'Furthermore, there are'. The overall flow is good, but some minor rephrasing would enhance the coherence.

The vocabulary used is adequate and mostly accurate. The candidate uses words like 'diverse', 'cuisines', and 'international' appropriately. However, there's a slight inaccuracy in referring to sushi as Korean food. Expanding the range of vocabulary and ensuring accuracy would improve this aspect. Consider using more specific vocabulary to describe the types of food available.

The grammar is mostly correct, but there are a few minor errors. For example, 'I lived in Malang is Java' is grammatically incorrect. It should be 'I lived in Malang, which is in Java' or 'I lived in Malang, a city in Java'. There are also some issues with sentence structure and word order. Focusing on improving sentence structure and ensuring grammatical accuracy will significantly improve the score. Practice using a wider range of grammatical structures.
