I am currently in the habit of reading books every day as a way of spending my leisure time. One thing that I find really amusing and appealing about reading books is that I can actually learn from them. For instance, whenever I come across an uncommon or advanced vocabulary or terminology, I can easily take a note and annotate in my book, which helps me apply that word in real-life contexts as well as in my studies at school, which is very useful for English learners like me. Also, it helps me read between the lines as I can really understand the implied meaning of the author's words and the tone of the language as well.
