One experience that made me feel confident was when I learned to cook palo, a traditional dish from my country. This happened a few months ago at my home. I can easily say it's a very hard situation for me because it was the first time. Palo consists of rice, meat, vegetables, and different types of spices. First of all, I watched a YouTube video on how to cook palo, and I started. I was a little nervous because it was my first time. After I finished, I served my family, and they loved it. It was so delicious. This situation made me feel confident because it was very hard for me, and I felt very proud and happy. I can easily say I felt proud and succeeded in cooking such an important dish. It boosted my cooking skills and made me feel more connected to my heritage. Since then, I've been more confident in trying out other traditional recipes and cooking for my family.
