When it comes to an admirable business female that I, um, always look up to, misses Hng is the first one that springs to my mind, actually. She’s my mother’s best friend and she’s also the founder of Sh Shop, uh, social enterprise that employs people with hearing impairment, provides them with vocational training, and sell their products. Her company has, um, been in the market for more than ten years and it is actually thriving now. I first became a volunteer for Sh Shop, um, two years ago when Miss W decided to change the business office to m a building just a stones road from my house. Working with Misses Hu, I can learn a lot from her m. Firstly, she teaches me the value of charity. And as a person who, uh, as an advantaged person in this society, I should do something to give back to the society and provide help for people with, um, disability. Secondly, I also learned a lot of life skills like, um, taking care of others cooking skills and also, uh, leadership skills when becoming a volunteer for sh shop. Maybe in the future I will continue, um, helping her and, um, participateating in greater campaigns at work.
