When someone is having a difficult period, I think it is better to listen rather than give an advice or pay no attention. I think it helps people feel lessened and comfortable by sharing problems. It also helps to avoid the awkward situation because I prefer to think twice before saying something because I don’t know how the words might affect others. And it is important to me because I can treat people with more kindness and respect.
