I believe several of these things contribute together for this issue like high inflation rates because it creates a situation where people can’t afford everyday expenses. So they turn to criminal activities as a way to provide their basic needs for themselves and their families. I believe the environment that people are going to is important as a criminal economic downturn because friends and peer groups can have powerful influence on individual behavior, especially during childhood. If an individual friend is engaged in a felony, they may be pressured to confirm these behaviors. I believe custodial sentences are really harsh for people who commit minor offence because most of them are no-yes and they are going to jail. They come into contact with professional criminals and finally they will learn the traits of the trade. I think in government and society you have to work together to prevent illegal action, for example educated people about consequences or solving a recession.
