One city that I've always considered for my future is Dubai. It's known for its luxury, and while the cost of living isn't low, it's more affordable than places like Vancouver. That's one reason I'm drawn to it, along with the abundance of job opportunities. But the main reason I'd like to live there is because it's close to my hometown. I feel safer knowing my family, especially my aging parents, are nearby. It's always been a concern of mine being far away and unable to care for them. Dubai also has a lot of positive aspects.
