Now I am going to talk about an important decision that I made. Actually at the initial stage it seemed unimportant to me but it was an impactful decision for my higher study profession. The decision was whether I should take the GRE for higher study preparation or not. So initially I thought that the GRE is not much important because most of the universities in the USA don't prefer to submit GRE scores. I mean it is good to enhance the profile and overall impact for a graduate study. But in the past few years it was very important. But recently most of the universities focused on research activities and research experiences, journal papers or other important experiences that will be essential for a graduate study. So I was confused to take the GRE test. But the decision seemed unimportant at that time but later I feel that it was a good decision because after preparing for the GRE examination it improved both my reasoning capability and English reading ability. For example, I improved my vocabulary knowledge, reasoning capability to read any complex text in English. Also it helped me to develop my writing preparation for the IELTS test. So I would say it helped me in many ways including my higher study preparation, overall profile enrichment, vocabulary building and also time management skill and I feel this was very significant because now I can apply to more universities in the US.
