So, my family, we have two festivals. And in those days, in Turkey, no one goes to school or work because it's a time for spending time with our relatives for celebration. We always go to Malatya because our extended family lives there. However, two years ago, my mother, who is a migrant, said to us, 'We want to come to Istanbul for the celebration.' And we want to spend time in your garden. We have a garden in Istanbul. And we accepted this. I was really excited because it was the first time they came to Istanbul for the celebration. Probably that's why this memory is so remarkable for me. We went to the shopping center with my mom because we had to buy so many things. As Turks, we have some cultural items like breakfast or baklava. Maybe you've heard of this. We had to buy so many things for them. Also, we were fasting for about 30 days, and all of us missed breakfast as a Turkish breakfast is really important for us. We cooked so many things for breakfast and our relatives came to Istanbul one day later. The festival days arrived, and we set up a really good breakfast on the table. Everything looked very delicious, and we ate our breakfast. After that, we kissed all their hands and they gave us money. This was also a Turkish tradition. After that, we ate baklava, and I was really appreciative because I missed my whole family very much. Those days gave us the opportunity to spend time with our relatives, and that's why I really like festivals. I was really happy.
