Well, my favorite item of cloth thing is a saree. So it is native from India but in Sri Lanka most of the women wear sarees as the traditional wear. But for the government sector workers, especially women wear sarees during their daily routine. So I would like that dress or the cloth thing is because it shows our pride of tradition in Sri Lanka whenever we go to another country. So definitely it definitely shows the pride of Sri Lanka because it has an ancient style of wearing but today the saree is modernized like modernized or saree. So in the weddings and any other special functions or for interviews, most of the Sri Lankan girls and both women wear sarees. So saree draping is taught by my mother to me. So it is very easy for me to drape the saree within 5 minutes. Most of the times I like to wear hand loom sarees or any cotton sarees except the silk sarees. So when I wear these silk sarees it make me skinny. So most of the time I would go for those hand loom sarees. They are Sri Lankan hand made sarees. One of my friend one day said that he doesn’t like that sarees because the draping of sarees is very annoying. So we need lots of pins to drape the saree to our body and that is very annoying when we go outside because there are so many fleets in front of the body and there is a long chain like fleet and they can be trapped in any way when we go around. So that is very annoying but for me I like it because it gives me pride whenever I go to the market.
