You know, Iran is rich in celebrations and festivals. There are many festivals here, but the most important one is Nowruz. Nowruz is the first day of the new year, and people celebrate for about 13 days. Most people are on holiday. It's similar to Christmas and its holidays, but in Iran, we have several cultural ceremonies, such as preparing a special table that includes various ingredients, and every ingredient represents a message. For example, all of them start with the letter 'S,' which is really precious and sacred for Iranians. For instance, the 'Sekkeh' is the coin that represents prosperity and the wish for having enough money for living. During the 13 days of the new year, people go to nature to bond with it and show their respect for the environment. They all try to be environmentally friendly and do their best to keep it safe and clean. As an Iranian, I'm really proud of my culture and festivals because they all trace back to the history of our kingdom and Nowruz. All Persian people from around the world try their best to preserve this cultural heritage.
