My best friend Violet is very good at singing and playing the guitar. We used to be classmates, and I saw her performing at different school concerts multiple times. For example, she sang at New Year's Eve concerts, on 9th of May concerts, and so on and so forth. I'm not a professional singer or musician, so I don't really differentiate between genres of music, but I know that she prefers singing songs of Soviet bands. For example, on 9th of May concert, she sang a song called Blood on a Sleeve by a very famous 80s-90s band called Kino. It was such a beautiful and amazing performance. I remember feeling extremely proud for her because I know her and I know how much time she put into the preparation for this performance. I remember that the audience applauded for her for several minutes after she stopped singing. Everybody was mesmerized by her voice and the way she conveyed the meaning through her intonations. I believe that she has a natural talent for this. And I'm pretty sure that she is going to continue developing it in the future as she applied for a special school where she can develop her vocal skills further.
