If I have to, I want the craft to be like the family I made with my own business. I would literally choose the DIY item that a family designed and assembled, each heart. When I suggested doing a homemade product together on the occasion of Vietnamese Family Day, all the members of my family approved of this idea, so we began working on it straight away. It was an interactive scrapbook that captures a slice of my family life. However, some comic moments happened during the scrapbook-making process. My father wanted to use white because it is compatible with other colors, while my grandmother liked to apply orange to the sides. Alternatively, my sister loved it, and my mother, when she attacked decorations with double-sided tape, and my mother also teased her about gluing the decorations to the cardboard with hot glue. The silly quarrels took us a week to finish the three-dimensional pages, but we were still on time. This scrapbook was a cherished and valuable keepsake containing photographs of my whole family traveling together and watching the fireworks at night. It feels like opening the book, opening the memory itself.
