First, our car broke down half way there, in the middle of now here. We had to wait several hours for roadside assistance, which completely throw off our schedule. By the time we got back on the road, it was already evening. When we finally reached the resorts, we realized there had been a mix-up with our booking and reservation had been cancelled. We ended up staying in much smaller, less comfortable place, which wasn’t what we had hoped for. To make matters worse, it rained heavily the entire weekends, so all our plans for hiking and outdoor activities were ruined. Although it was a frustrating experience at the time, we managed to make the best of it. We played board games, shared stories and laughed about the series of unfortunate events. In the end, it became a memorable trip, not because of what we planned, but because of how we adapted and enjoyed each other’s company despite everything.
