One day, my friends and I were on one of our trips to the mountains. There, we tried Italian pizza, which we loved very much. We had it during one of our trips. Overall Band Score

Consider using more varied and advanced words.

Vocabulary Repetition:

trips: 2

spicy: 2

Try using synonyms for the above words

Pronunciation

6.5

Your pronunciation is above average. However, you may find complexity in certain words challenging. Regular practice should aid in improvement.

Task Response

4.5

The response is satisfactory, but it could be improved by providing more details about the experience. Consider elaborating on the specific type of pizza, the location where you ate it, and the overall atmosphere. Adding more sensory details, such as describing the taste, smell, and texture of the pizza, would enhance the response. Also, expanding on the 'healthy nature' of the pizza would make the explanation more convincing. The response could be expanded as it currently feels quite brief.

Fluency & Coherence

5.5

The answer is understandable, but there are some repetitions and slightly incoherent phrasing. For example, mentioning the trip twice is unnecessary. Improving the flow and reducing repetition would significantly enhance fluency and coherence. More sophisticated linking words could also be used to improve the overall structure.

Lexical Resource

5.5

The vocabulary is adequate but not particularly sophisticated. While the speaker uses words like "ingredients" and "sauces," more precise and descriptive language could be used to elevate the lexical resource. For example, instead of just "spicy," describing the type of spice or the intensity would be beneficial.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

4.5

There are several grammatical errors, including incorrect use of articles and some sentence fragments. The speaker uses simple sentence structures predominantly. Improving grammatical accuracy and incorporating more complex sentence structures would improve the score. For example, the phrase "because of because of" is grammatically incorrect.
