So one of the events that came to mind was when we were playing football I think in high school, maybe the 9th grade, so my first year of high school. And I remember I was always playing defense, basically. I never was any good at football, sadly. And I remember I always had a problem of, I was not always successful at hitting the ball away from the strikers. I kept kind of kicking them in the shims, which I understand is painful. But the way one of those guys handled it was not very gentleman-like. He just started shouting at me and came up to me and out of nowhere, like, I was totally taken aback. I didn’t even consider that someone would headbutt me, but he did. I expected a punch, kind of, but a headbutt was like, not even in my wildest imagination, was I imagining that strike to come towards me. But unfortunately I got hit pretty bad and I fell to the floor and I remember one of my friends, Yano, rushed to my defense. I was totally discombobulated, but I remember he pushed him away and he was like, starting at him really intensely. And that kind of cemented him for me as someone I could rely on for the rest of my life. So that has been etched into my mind ever since. And one of the other events that came to mind was we used to have just-dance competitions in this great gathering hall in school, which was a lot more cringe-worthy than I’m thinking back on it. But at the time, I remember having so much fun at those competitions and I don’t know how I felt so free in that high school that I could, in front of the whole school, commit my whole being into a just-dance performance.
